Place of Performance: This role will be remote; however, the FA will be responsible for overseeing the following facilities:
Dublin, GA: 2103 Veterans Blvd, Unit 2, Dublin, GA 31021 (due to potential relocation, the exact address may change location within a radius of 50 miles of current location)
Cheyenne, WY: 5353 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, WY 82009
Murfreesboro, TN: 3209 Elam Farms Parkway, Room 220, Murfreesboro, TN 37127. (Due to potential relocation of CMOP sites during the life of the contract, this facility may change locations within a radius of 50 miles of current location).
Period of Performance: The base contract will have a five (5) year ordering period.
Schedule: The normal hours of operation/scheduling (hours are in local time zones):
Dublin, GA: Eight (8) hour shifts between 7:00AM- 7:30 PM Monday - Friday.
Cheyenne, WY: Eight (8) hour shifts between 7:00AM-7:30 PM Monday - Friday
Murfreesboro, TN: Eight (8) hour shifts between 7:00AM- 7:30 PM Monday - Friday
Overview: Meds by Mail applies approved management protocols to review and process external prescriptions that may, at times, necessitate interactions with physician offices, patients and/or their family or representative. The MbM consists of three physical sites: Dublin, GA, Cheyenne, WY, Murfreesboro, TN. The MbM processed 3.6 million prescriptions (paper and e-scripts) for Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) in FY21. Prescriptions sent to MbM originate from non-VA providers located in all 50 states plus all US Territories and US Possessions. MbM expects a 5% yearly increase in prescription volume over the next five years. MbM’s Virtual Pharmacy Service (VPS) provides prescription verification assistance to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Pharmacies of the United States and territories at a per prescription cost recovery. By the end of FY 2023, MbM serviced 36 VAMCs verifying 5.6 million prescriptions.
The Facility Administrator shall meet the following qualifying criteria:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited educational institution.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of work experience that reflects strong on-site managerial and leadership abilities of more than 30 personnel, and experience in business operations, project management, and human resources.
Must be Six Sigma Certified at or above the Green Belt Level and/or be Project Management Certified (PMP).
Be willing to travel to the above-mentioned facilities should circumstances require it.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversight of human resource management duties, provide oversight of policy compliance to include on-board processing, mandatory training and orientation of contract personnel, on-going competency assessments of contract personnel as well as performance management and quality control of services provided.
Oversee and lead a large team, ensuring compliance with VA CMOP policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support in daily operations, ensuring staff productivity, attendance, and adherence to quality standards.
Effectively address human resource-related issues, including but not limited to conflict resolution with minimal disruption to operations.
Manage day-to-day business operations within the facility, ensuring efficient workflow, high quality and productivity levels, as well as cost-effective practices.
Collaborate with upper management to align facility operations with organizational goals and objectives.
Lead and oversee projects within the facility, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma practices, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development of staff.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of attendance, productivity, and other HR-related metrics.
